Micro-Needling

Micro-Needling therapy, also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a pen shaped device containing 12 very fine needles. The needles are used to puncture the skin to create a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a channel that triggers the body to fill these microscopic wounds by producing new collagen and elastin.

The device slides along the skin, penetrating the upper layers of the skin to a depth of up to 2mm to create numerous tiny needle wounds. The procedure prompts the body to respond through the creation of new collagen and elastin fibers. In response to the stimulus, the skin plumps and thickens, reducing the appearance of scars, and fine lines and wrinkles.

Micro-needling is a gentler anti-aging therapy than other forms of skin resurfacing, and by encouraging your skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin, can actually stimulate your skin’s amazing ability to heal itself, reducing the appearance of not only fine lines and wrinkles but, pore size, acne scars, sun spots, scars, stretch marks and other signs of aging. This incredible, long-lasting solution works in conjunction with your body’s natural rejuvenation process, and greatly facilitates the healing impact of topical creams, gels, and serums by enabling them to penetrate deep into the skin, for healthy, well-nourished, naturally-beautiful skin.

4-6 treatments are recommended.
